The Kendriya Vidyalayas (VK) is a system of Central Government Schools in the country that have been instituted under the aegis of the MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development). Eligibility Criteria for KVS TGT PRT PGT Vacancy 2024
Educational Qualification
Those who are going to apply for KVS Recruitment 2024 must have completed their Graduation, and Posts Graduation from a well-recognized University or Institution with minimum qualifying marks. Here is the complete required education qualification for KVS Jobs as posts wise mentioned below:
- Post-Graduate Teacher (PGTs): BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc./’B’ & ‘C’ Level DOEACC with minimum 50% marks.
- Trained Graduate Teacher (TGTs): Bachelor’s Degree from Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50 % marks. Knowledge of computers is a must.
- Primary Teacher (PRT): Candidates need to have a graduate degree in the relevant field.
Age Limit
The upper age limit for the above posts is mentioned below, candidates need to check the KVS Jobs 2024 Age limit on the date January:

- TGT: 35 years
- Primary Teacher: 30 years
