- 150 ITIs have been converted into technology hubs and a total of 150 ITI colleges in the state are being upgraded at a cost of about Rs 4500 crore, Government of Karnataka. It has established 23 futuristic skill development courses in areas like Robotics, IoT, and Artificial Intelligence.
- Learning Management Systems (LMS) have focused on improving futuristic capabilities with organizations including artificial intelligence, robots, data analytics, and the Internet of Things.
- Agreements have been signed between Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and Infosys, Government Tool Rooms and Training Centers (GTTCs) and Toyota Kirloskar, Karnataka Skill Development Corporation (KSDC) and National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM), and ITIs.
- With regard to better skills for the times to come, as part of the talent acceleration program, futuristic skill training from the Departments of Information Technology and Biotechnology to final year BE/BCA students, Solid Waste Management and Driving Training from Panchayat Raj Department, and have achieved self-employment and self-reliance.
- Skill training is provided by SIDAC, Department of Agriculture, Department of Higher Education, Department of Health and Family Welfare, and Department of Primary and Secondary Education.
