• This scheme has been started by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Ji.
• Under this scheme, financially weak students will be provided loans to pursue higher education.
• Under Kalinga Sakhi Sathi Yojana, financial assistance will be provided in the form of educational loans up to ₹ 1000000.
• Candidates have to pay only a 1% interest rate on the loan amount.
• If the amount of 7.5 is taken by the candidate then the repayment period on this loan is 10 years and if the loan amount is taken 100000 then the repayment period is 15 years.
