Educational Qualification for Constable (Driver) Male
- A valid heavy vehicle driving license is required.
- Matriculation or its equivalent from a Recognized Board.
Educational Qualification for Constable (Painter, Blacksmith & Carpenter)
- Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
- Must pass the trade test.
- 2 Years of Work Experience in the Related Trade / One Year Certificate Course from a Recognized ITI or Vocational Institute with at least One Year Experience in the Related Trade / Two Years Diplomas from a Recognized ITI in the Related Trade.
Educational Qualification for Constable ( Barber, Tailor, Washerman, Cook, Water Carrier, SafaiWala, Cobbler & Gardner )
- Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
- Must pass the trade test.
- 2 Years of Work Experience in the Related Trade / One Year Certificate Course from a Recognized ITI or Vocational Institute with at least One Year Experience in the Related Trade / Two Years Diplomas from a Recognized ITI in the Related Trade.
Educational Qualification for Constable (Veterinary)
- Matriculation or a 10th-grade examination with science as the main subject from a recognized board is required.
Age Relaxation
The upper age limit can be relaxed:
- For SC/ST applicants, by 5 years
- By three years for those who are OBC/MOBC
- By ten years for applicants with disabilities.
