Under this scheme, youth will be recruited in the Army, Air Force, and Navy for 4 years. The brave youth who apply for this scheme will be named Agniveer. Agniveer Recruitment 2024 is an upcoming recruitment drive for the Indian Army. This recruitment drive is expected to offer various posts across different disciplines, including Agniveer (General Duty) (All Arms), Agniveer (Technical) (All Arms), Agniveer (Technical) (Aviation & Ammunition Examiner), Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper (Technical) (All Arms), Agniveer Tradesmen (All Arms) 10th pass, and Agniveer Tradesmen (All Arms) 8th pass.

To be eligible for the Agniveer (General Duty) (All Arms) post, candidates should have passed Class 10/Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For the Agniveer (Technical) (All Arms) post, candidates should have passed a 10+2/Intermediate Exam in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject. Alternatively, candidates can also have passed a 10+2 intermediate exam from any recognized State Education Board or Central Education Board to include NIOS and ITI courses of a minimum of one year in the required field with NSQF level 4 or above.

For the Agniveer (Technical) (Aviation & Ammunition Examiner) post and the Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper (Technical) (All Arms) post, candidates should have passed 10+2 | Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/BookKeeping in Class Xll is mandatory.
