SSB means Sashastra Seema Bal also known as “Armed Border Force”. SSB has released that it is opening up the online and offline form for 335 positions in 2023 of which dates will be announced soon. SSB is doing various job recruitment in 2023 for so many different posts. The total number of positions opened by SSB is 335 which are open for different positions such as Sub Inspector, Inspector, Head Constable, Deputy Commandant, and so many other posts.
About Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)
Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) was formed in 1963 and it is an independent body that comes under the Ministry of Home affairs. It is commonly known as the paramilitary police force of India which is responsible for border security or which does guard the International Borders of India with Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan China, and so on. This is also one of the main Armed forces of India which are also known as the Central Armed Forces of India which includes so many different forces in it such as ITBP, BSF, CRPF, CISF, and so on.

When it got formed that time it used to know as “Special Services Bureau”, But in 2001 its name got changed to “Sashastra Seema Bal” after which these forces started taking care of the border from Nepal also. With this, it has been also deployed to so many different areas of India such as Jammu and Kashmir where they also do counter-insurgency operations. This force also takes care of the anti-Naxal activities and operations in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Bihar reason of India. With the security of the international borders, it also provides security on the internal borders and in elevation which happens in different states which is known as internal security too.
Candidates can fill out the form for all these positions online in which they can make payments through net banking, debit card, and credit card. If someone is not willing to do this application form online then they can choose to do this process offline too in which they can simply download the form and after filling the form they can make a demand draft of the given amount for applying for the position ( application fee can be different from each other for different – different positions) and can send that to SSB office.

One thing the candidate needs to remember always is that they can fill this form within 30 days of the time frame of the announcement date on the SSB official announcement date. After clearing these written exams candidate gets selection through a lot of various tests such as group decisions, physical tests,(in which they are being tested on their height, weight, and chest ), general knowledge, and so on, and if they clear all that they are supposed to go for further training which will be conducted by SSB only.
